I'm posting every week in 2011!
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43: 18,19
Happy New Year! First, let me say that it is my deepest wish that you are looking into this new year with hope and faith. I love what Corrie ten Boom said about faith: “Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.” And well, she should know (if you’ve never read her book The Hiding Place, you need to read it).
Okay, so it’s ambitious, but it’s my goal. To post something every week in 2011.:) I am such a blessed woman…I get to see God at work, the brilliance of his glory, every day. As a matter of fact, so do you.:) Anyway, I hope to see you here every week in 2011. And I want to thank those of you who are always faithful readers, who encourage me so much, who believe that God just might want to do something through my writing. You mean more to me than I can possibly put into words…and that’s a lot…because I love words. Please comment as you can and let me know you’re out there. You cannot imagine what a blessing that is to me!
I have to tell you that I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I’m finishing up a book next week and submitting it to a publishing contest. And even if the book doesn’t win the contest, I’ll be ready to edit it, add to it, and market it in other places. So I am THRILLED. If you’re a praying person, pray that God will make of this project what He wants to make of it. Pray that He’ll be glorified, regardless of the outcome. At the very least, the book will be something my family will one day treasure.
Okay, one more thing tonight: I have to share this Veggie Tales silly song with you because we watched it over Christmas and nearly fell in the floor laughing. This song was written about Adam…just imagine monkeys being the predominant stuffed animal.
Wishing you the very best in the new year!! If you are resolved in one way or another, I want to know how.:)
